Stories that connect.
Credibility that lasts.

Maria Santucci, founder of ARC37 Strategies, in a navy blazer

Maria Santucci is a strategic communications leader, executive advisor and storyteller with over 15 years of experience helping healthcare, digital health and media organizations navigate transformation, build trust and strengthen their reputations. Her work spans corporate positioning, executive thought leadership, change communications and crisis management, connecting business strategy with how organizations communicate through pivotal moments.

Experience that shapes the work

Before founding ARC37 Strategies, Maria served as Head of External Communications at RVO Health, a joint venture between Red Ventures and UnitedHealth Group’s Optum. She led enterprise communications across consumer and B2B audiences for a digital health portfolio reaching more than 100 million monthly users.

As the business expanded from health information into healthcare technology and services, Maria helped communicate its evolving corporate story. She advised executives and led communications around corporate positioning, organizational change, AI integrations and major product launches across Healthline, Healthgrades, Medical News Today, Psych Central and Optum Perks.

As Director of Strategic Communications at U.S. News & World Report, Maria led strategic communications for the brand’s signature rankings and ratings, including Best Hospitals and Best Colleges. Her work helped reinforce U.S. News’ standing as a trusted source of consumer guidance at moments when the stakes are personal: choosing a hospital, finding care or deciding where to pursue an education.

Maria helped expand U.S. News’ health vertical, leading communications strategy, earned media and events for the launch of its inaugural Healthiest Communities rankings in collaboration with the Aetna Foundation. She extended that work beyond the rankings, bringing conversations about community health and health disparities to Cannes Health and SXSW. Her campaigns secured national coverage in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and major broadcast networks.

Earlier roles at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Rubenstein built her foundation in media relations, crisis communications and reputation management. That experience continues to inform her counsel to leaders navigating complex, high-stakes moments.
